Our membership is open to the broader entrepreneurial community, not just Stanford affiliates. Choose the track that fits how you want to engage.
Get invited to our public events including panels, lectures, and pitch sessions. Affiliates participate in events but do not take part in organizing or planning them.
Get immediate access to every startup that comes our way, before we share internally or externally. Solidify terms, strike deals, and influence our deal sourcing strategy.
A note on Angel membership: The Angel Core Member tier is selective and subject to approval by the Stanford Alumni Association. Membership is limited to maintain the quality and trust of our deal flow network. Stanford affiliates are given priority consideration. Non-Stanford affiliates are welcome to apply but must demonstrate meaningful capacity to contribute to the community, whether through investing experience, relevant expertise, or network access that benefits our startups.
Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs has always drawn its momentum from the credibility and trust that comes with a shared network. A shared alma mater suggests overlapping experiences, similar problem-solving approaches, and mutual connections to business affiliates.
But as information becomes more widely available and technology reduces the barriers distance used to impose, we have made it a priority to cast a wider net. A major goal of SAE Texas Chapter is to extend our community beyond Stanford affiliates, enabling folks from across the entrepreneurial space to join our events and engage with us.
Our parent organization, the Stanford Alumni Association, requires that 90% of core members maintain Stanford affiliation. Affiliate membership and startup submissions, however, are open to everyone.
