Startup founder presenting to investors
What We Look For

What Makes a Strong Submission

A well-defined problem — Who, why, when, where, and how much cost is affiliated. Show that a market cares enough to want a solution.
A validated solution — Are stakeholders aware of the problem? Are they actively seeking a fix? What is your product-market fit evidence?
Traction and growth signal — TAM analysis, market access strategy, and evidence the solution addresses the problem. We prefer bottom-up analysis over top-down projections.
The right team — Why are you the right people now and into the future? What is your unfair advantage and defensibility against competitors?
A clear ask — Valuation, deal terms, and use of capital. Be specific. If you are not yet raising, that is fine too.

There is always competition, even if it is just the current way the market gets by without your solution. Stanford affiliation is not required.
